Lincoln Welders Truck Series
TOLEDO OH (5-17-08) - ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series veteran Paul Hahn looked every bit the part Saturday afternoon at Toledo Speedway.
The Canton, Michigan driver, in the no. 7 Hahn's Powder Coating-Fox Auto Parts-Howe Racing Chevrolet, led the final 32 circuits en route to winning the Champion Credit Union 50.
"We were on a rail out there," said Hahn. "The truck was working so well; I could hug the white line when I needed too. It's nice to be finally turning our luck around. Can't wait to go to Flat Rock to make it three in a row. It's my home track and we won both races there (Flat Rock) last year, so we feel we have a pretty good handle on it at Flat Rock."

TOLEDO OH (5-16-08) - Sunday's Hantz Group 200 by Federated Car Care at Toledo Speedway is, without question, the main act at Toledo Speedway this weekend.
And while the excitement continues to build for Sunday's grand finale, Saturday's opening act is also creating quite a stir. And for good reason.
ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series veterans' Steve Christman and Nick Gullatta are tied for the lead headed into Saturday's Champion Credit Union 50 starring the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series.
At present, 27 top-notch teams have filed entries for the race, which will be featured at arcaracing.com through Live Timing & Scoring.
Christman, at 60 years young, is still very much on top of his game.
"I certainly feel I'm as good as I ever was; in fact I think I'm probably better," said Christman.

SPARTA KY (5-10-08) - Paul Hahn steered the no. 7 Hahn's Powder Coating-Fox Auto Parts-Howe Racing Chevy Colorado to victory lane Saturday afternoon at Kentucky Speedway, earning his 16th career ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series triumph in the Lincoln Welders 100.
After following race leader Rob Jones for much of the way, the former series champion slipped underneath Jones for the lead in turns one and two on lap 59 and led the final 41 circuits.
"We actually got lucky on this one," said Hahn from victory lane.

GROVE CITY OH (5-9-08) - Not what we had in mind would be an understatement. Coming off our good run at Anderson we expected to be close to the front of the field at Winchester. We know that we are short on horse power with our little engine and didn't have a chance at the pole but we thought we would be better than tenth fastest after practice. We had to work hard just to get the truck up that far. Then just to make things worse one of our new tires went flat right before qualifying and we had to put another one on. Bottom line qualified 17th and finished 8th.

WINCHESTER IN (5-4-08) - ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series veteran Nick Gullatta, in the Thomson Automotive-Mr. Heater-Enerco Chevy Colorado, turned in a near-perfect performance Sunday afternoon at Winchester Speedway with a convincing victory in the Lincoln Welders 50-lap main event.
The Cleveland, Ohio driver earned the 2BKool Pole Award earlier in the day, then charged from the 10th starting position and tracked down Ron Wells in the closing stages to earn his fifth series victory in his 25th series start.

GROVE CITY OH (5-1-08) - As you all probably know the first ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series race of the season is in the record books and seemed to come off pretty good. For us, about the only way it could have been better would have been if we had won. I think everyone, including our team, was quite surprised when we won the 2BKool pole award to start out the night! It was our first pole award since June 22, 2001 at Toledo Speedway.

ANDERSON IN (4-19-08) - ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series veteran Steve Christman, in the no. 19 Bagman Racing Chassis-R&B Fabrication Chevy S-10, led flag to flag Saturday night at Anderson Speedway to win the season opening Lincoln Welders 100.
Christman, debuting the new Bagman Chassis, started second, jumped into the lead at the onset and held the point to the very end.
However, Christman's victory did not come without serious effort as Rob Jones, in his own no. 39 R&B Contractors Chevrolet, pressured the eventual winner continuously over the course of the 100-lap race.

INDIANAPOLIS IN (4-12-08)--The University of Toledo College of Engineering is back on board with Esterline Motorsports and the No. 10 Chevy for the 2008 ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series season. INDIANAPOLIS IN (4-8-08)--What's fast, hard-hitting, and takes lots of skill and finesse? ARCA racing, of course. But a recent weekend spent at a local ice arena taught truck series driver Tully Esterline that there's another hard-hitting sport out there, full of skilled, fast players (who just might be missing a few teeth).
As soon as Esterline's wife's coed ice hockey team found out that her husband was a driver, they were immediately intrigued. With Indianapolis being the racing capital of the world, it's hard to find anyone in the city who does not have an interest in it.

TOLEDO OH (4-4-08) - ARCA's Temperance, Michigan, home base was transformed into a school of sorts last Saturday when officials from the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series showed up for hands-on training in an effort to be fully prepared for the upcoming ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series season, which kicks off on Saturday, April 19th at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana.

(3-27-08) - It's been a few weeks since my last column and there hasn't been much news about the truck series on the ARCA site so I thought I write another one. First if any of the Truck Series teams have any news or updates they would like me to add to my column please send them to me. If I'm going to keep doing this I need something to write about.

ANDERSON IN (3-25-08) - Anderson Speedway has been a thorn in the side of Stan & Judi Rosen's R&D Racing ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series team and its driver Nick Gullatta for the past two seasons.
In 2006, Gullatta's rookie season, the race was rained out and never rescheduled. In 2007, the team suffered a blown engine before taking any serious laps.
"We can't afford another bad showing at Anderson," said Gullatta.
