ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards
LONG POND PA (8-2-08)--The Pennsylanvia 200 ARCA RE/MAX Series race, originally scheduled to roll off at 1 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, August 2nd, has been pushed back one hour to a 2 p.m. start time. Track and series officials are in the process of drying the racetrack after a steady stream of rain showers poured down throughout the area on Saturday morning. Arcaracing.com will provide live timing and scoring and a live audio broadcast of the race via the ARCA Racing Network sponsored by Team GLOCK Racing. LONG POND PA (8-1-08)--Eddie Sharp Racing's Scott Speed, in the No. 2 Red Bull Toyota, earned his third career ARCA RE/MAX Series SIM Factory Pole Award Friday afternoon, posting a 54.286-second lap (165.789 mph) around the 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway triangle.

LONG POND PA (8-1-08)--Defending ARCA RE/MAX Series champion Frank Kimmel was quickest among 41 drivers during an ARCA RE/MAX Series practice session at Pocono Raceway on Friday afternoon, posting a 53.992 second (166.691 mph) lap around the 2.5-mile triangle in his family-owned No. 44 Ford Drive One-GermaneRED Ford Fusion.

Statesville, NC (07-30-08) ARCA RE/MAX series points contender Matt Carter and the No. 46 Fort Dodge Animal Health/Stine Seed Ford Fusion team are packing up and heading to the Pocono Mountains to compete in Saturdays' Pennsylvania ARCA 200. Heading into this weekends' race at Pocono, Carter sits fourth in championship points and currently holds the third spot in contention for SunTrust Rookie of the Year. Car owner, Larry Clement, is extremely satisfied with the effort and achievements by the team thus far in the 2008 season.

Mooresville, NC (7.30.08) - #37 Dexter Bean and Team GLOCK will head to Pocono Raceway for the Pennsylvania 200 this Saturday, August 2nd in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. The two day event will take place at Dexter's favorite track and the #37 team is well overdue for a win. Dexter has a strong history of finishes at the Pennsylvania 2.5 mile triangular track with a seventh place earlier this year, a second place last year along with a fourth place finish in 2006 in the ARCA RE/MAX Series.

Marne, MI (07-29-08) ARCA RE/MAX series rookie Matt Carter scored a season fourth top five finish this past Saturday night at Berlin Raceway for the Berlin ARCA RE/MAX 200. The race event started with early afternoon qualifying runs, where Carter placed the No. 46 Hantz Group-Stine Seed Ford Fusion on the starting grid in the tenth position.

DENVER, N.C. (July 29, 2008) - Eddie Sharp Racing heads to Pocono Raceway with three of the last four checkered flags in hand (MIS, Kentucky and Berlin). Justin Lofton, Scott Speed, and Ken Butler, III are all anxious to return to speedway action at the Long Pond, Pennsylvania 2.5-mile triangle for the second time this season. ESR, which unloaded three strong cars in June and claimed the pole position, returns this weekend with three rockets ready for the Pennsylvania 200.

And as the national stock car touring series returns to Pocono Raceway this weekend, Silas looks to begin to change his average finish at the 2.5-mile facility in Saturday's Pennsylvania 200.

Denver, NC (July 30, 2008) - Gabi DiCarlo and the new look Great Clips Racing Team look to improve on their 10th place finish from earlier this season at the tricky triangle known as Pocono Raceway.
