ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards
MARNE, Michigan (July 24, 2008) - - Heading into ARCA's shortest track of the season at Berlin Raceway, sophomore ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) driver Bryan Silas returns to the .4-mile race track looking to repeat his recent string of strong qualifying runs but more importantly add a fourth top-10 finish to his season in Saturday night's Berlin ARCA 200.

Casola Farms Dodge Charger for Win-Tron Racing, Holmdel, New Jersey's Dominick Casola returns to the seat and searches for his third consecutive top-10 finish in Saturday night's Berlin ARCA 200 at Berlin Raceway.

Sparta, KY (7-20-2008) ARCA RE/MAX series driver Matt Carter and the No. 46 Stine Seed Ford Fusion team scored a seventh place finish in the Kentucky ARCA RE/MAX 150 this past Friday night at Kentucky Speedway. Carter started off the race day event by placing the car in the No. 18 position on the starting grid.

Soddy Daisy, TN: Hixson Motorsports has tapped Travis Sharpe to help turn around the season for Donny Kelley, driver of the #23 Porter Glass Chevrolets. Sharpe, 27 of Martinsville, VA, brings a wealth of knowledge to the struggling 23 team.

SPARTA, Kentucky (July 24, 2008) - The ARC RE/MAX Series made their first return trip to any of their tracks last weekend for the running of the Kentucky ARCA 150 at Kentucky Speedway. SunTrust rookie Ryan Fischer was eager to return to the 1.5-mile track, as it was the site of his first top-five finish and qualifying run earlier this season.

Mooresville, NC (7.24.08) - Dexter Bean, driver of the #37 GLOCK Chevrolet will head to another short-track this weekend at Berlin Raceway in the 12th race of the ARCA RE/MAX Series 2008 schedule. The 200 lap event will take place in Marne, MI from the .4 mile paved oval track.

DENVER, N.C. (July 23, 2008) - Eddie Sharp Racing turns its focus from the speedways to the short track this weekend as teammates Scott Speed, Justin Lofton, and Ken Butler, III head to Berlin Raceway for some fender-banging, good ol' Saturday Night racing.

INDIANAPOLIS IN (7-24-08)--Mike Helton, President of NASCAR, accepted the Annual Mildred Marcum Pioneer Award on behalf of NASCAR drivers' Sara Christian and Louise Smith, both of whom received the award posthumously Thursday afternoon at the 2008 Women in the Winner's Circle celebration at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The luncheon ceremony is hosted each season by its founder, Lyn St. James. Mildred Marcum, co-founder of ARCA, received the inaugural Mildred Marcum Pioneer Award in 2005.

Mooresville, N.C. (July 23, 2008) - Tim George Jr. made his debut in a stock car on Tuesday while testing the No. 71 TRG Motorsports Chevrolet ARCA RE/MAX Series car in preparation for the upcoming Toyota ARCA 150 at the 1.33-mile D-shaped oval on Saturday, August 9th. George's debut was a success and the rookie gained valuable track time while progressively gaining speed at the Lebanon, Tennessee superspeedway.

SPARTA, Kentucky (July 22, 2008) - - Matt Merrell and Win-Tron Racing had high hopes for Saturday's Kentucky ARCA RE/MAX 150. Unfortunately tough circumstances plagued the team hard with Merrell recording a disappointing 40th place finish.

CONCORD, NC (7/21/08) John Wes Townley, driver of the No. 09 Zaxby's/SPS/BB&T/Saxon Group Ford, took home a disappointing 34th place finish in Friday night's ARCA 150.

MARNE MI (7-23-08) - Berlin Raceway is the shortest track on the ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule, and, ironically, it's sandwiched in between two of the biggest - Kentucky last week and Pocono the next. In the world of high-tech aerodynamic stuff, wind tunnel time going to Berlin is, more or less, a waste of time.

NASHVILLE TN (7-22-08)--Brian Scott unofficially topped the speed charts this afternoon at Nashville Superspeedway, circling the 1.33-mile concrete track in 29.44 seconds, for a speed of 162.636 mph. He was followed by Matt Hawkins, Justin Allgaier, Jesse Smith, Scott Speed and Sean Caisse.
