This is the last of our winter bulletins. Flat Rock office will open Monday, April 13. Toledo office is staffed daily. Scott will be staying at Toledo office until mid-June; Frank Bockstanz will be at Flat Rock daily when the track office opens.

Bill Litogot Sr., who drove in ARCA sanctioned races at Mt. Clemens Race Track and Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways, passed away after a fall at his home Monday evening March 16. Litogot attended the Racer's Reunion Saturday at the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grill, along with his son Bill Litogot Jr., grandson Bill Litogot III and his great grandson. Bill Litogot Sr. was 86. Bill Litogot III is the 2006 ARCA 4-Cylinder division champion and currently competes in the ARCA Late Model division. Funeral services are private.

TOLEDO, OH:  The New Glass Bowl Lanes hosted the Flat Rock/Toledo Speedway bowling tournament Sunday afternoon.  The group of about 25 bowlers took part in the 9-Pin No Tap tournament being held at the Glass Bowl, which serves as the sponsor of Toledo's Winner's Circle.  Owner Ron Gorney also furnishes the tour bus for the track during the summer months.

Condolences go out to the friends and relatives of a pair of Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway ARCA racing families.

TOLEDO, OH: There's something about walking into Frenchtown Square Mall in Monroe and Westfield Franklin Park in Toledo at this time of year-and when you see the freshly-painted, sharp-looking race cars, you start to get anxious for racing season!

TOLEDO, OH: (3-2-09): With the 2009 racing season right around the corner, Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways have rolled out their special event advance ticket sale programs. All pre-sale tickets are for reserved seating only. General admission tickets go on sale the day of each event when the box office opens.

TOLEDO, OH: (2-25-09): Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway management will once again have a 4 Cylinder race car rental program in place for the upcoming 2009 season.

RACING FUEL

SUNOCO Racing Fuel, distributed by Bazell Race Fuels, will supply the tracks with fuel. The cost continues to rise and fall, but it appears that the price will be lower in 2009. First deliveries of fuel will take place in mid-April; we'll announce the price at that time. Bazell has also agreed to once again contribute to the point fund at both tracks.
