New to the schedule at both facilities is Race Car Roller Derby, while the Imperial Stunt Driverís Thrill Show is set for a date at Toledo in 2008.

It's also your chance to see these great machines in their finest condition minus the forthcoming tire-rubs, wrinkled quarters and dents and donuts that are all part of the world of paint-trading, fender-banging stock car racing. From the Frenchtown Square Mall show in Monroe, to the Westfield (Franklin Park) Mall in Toledo, to the Westland Shopping Center in Westland, to the Southland Center in Taylor, this year's line-up is better than ever. TOLEDO OH (2-28-08)--Officials from ARCA and Toledo Speedway announced today that the 4th Annual ARCA Fan Fest has been scheduled as part of the spring ARCA RE/MAX Series weekend at Toledo Speedway, May 17 & 18.

Milton V. "Milt" Roop, 71, of Holland Ohio, died Tuesday Jan. 1 at his home.

TOLEDO OH (1-14-08)--Toledo Speedway's .5-mile paved oval is slated for a lighting upgrade to the Qualite Sports-Lighting Systems, Inc. set-up at the track, which has been in place since the start of the 2006 season. Track management entered into an agreement with Qualite as a test program for the super-speedway style lighting system in turns 1 and 2, the backstretch and turns 3 and 4 just 2 years ago. Qualite officials are now prepared to install an upgrade to the system as they look to improve this part of their product line.

LEXINGTON MI (1-11-08)--The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts continues to prepare for the 2008 racing seasons within all four divisions of the Lexington, Michigan based series.

In what is widely regarded as the Official 2008 Season Opening Weekend in the Great Lakes Region of the United States, the cars and stars of the ASALMS Northern Division as well as the much anticipated return of the USPRO Cup Series will share the spotlight to kick off each of their 2008 seasons. It'll all happen on Friday and Saturday April 11-12, 2008 as part of the Glass Breaker 200 Weekend at the famed Toledo (OH) Speedway, located just across the Michigan / Ohio state line in Toledo, Ohio.

TOLEDO OH (10-29-07)--Santa Claus will lead a motorcade of several hundred "biker-elves" to deliver gifts to children on Sunday, November 4, 2007. Registration for the 18th annual Toy Run will begin at 9:30 A.M. at Signature Harley Davidson, Perrysburg, for bikers donating a monetary gift or new toy.

BOWLING GREEN OH (10-11-07)--ODOT District 2 has today announced that crews will continue to mill pavement on I-75 in both directions from I-280 to the Michigan Border.

TOLEDO OH (9-27-07)--Ford Racing and the Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers have announced their support of The Andersons ARCA Fan Fest presented by Wolverine, scheduled for the weekend of October 12-14 at Toledo Speedway.

The dealer group, in cooperation with Ford Racing, will display the Ford Racing Performance Tour mobile marketing semi-tractor trailer at fan fest. This offers fans the opportunity to participate in interactive activities plus view the latest line of Ford production passenger vehicles. Several Ford Racing vehicles will also be on display.

LeRoy MI (9-21-07) - Our condolences to the family of Valerie Drager, whose mother, Signe H. Lindquist, age 75 of LeRoy, Michigan, passed away Thursday September 20, 2007 at Spectrum Hospital, Reed City. Valerie is the wife of ARCA President Ron Drager.

TOLEDO OH (9-15-07)--The Burge Wrecking "Night of Destruction" lived up to its billing Friday evening at Toledo Speedway, as the large crowd enjoyed an action-packed night of entertainment on a cool evening. A total of 8 different contests took place, topped off by the School Bus Figure 8 feature, won by weekly Figure 8 driver Troy Herrmann.

TOLEDO OH (9-12-07)--The ARCA Safety Seminar, featuring the latest information in race car/driver safety and technology updates, is set for Saturday, December 1 at the Toledo Speedway Banquet Room, located on the grounds of track.

TOLEDO OH (9-12-07)--3-time race winner Steve Sauve will shoot for an unprecedented 4th victory in the Saturday, September 22 Miller Lite Glass City 200 presented by National City Bank and Allegiant Air at Toledo Speedway. The Saginaw, MI native made history by winning 3 Glass City events in a row in 2002, 2003 and 2004. The only other driver to win 3 of these crowns is the legendary short-track ace Bob Senneker, who took the Glass City 200 titles in 1970, 1971 and 1977.

TOLEDO OH (9-11-07)--Edgerton,Ohio native and 2006 winner Jack Landis is among the latest entries for the prestigious Miller Lite Glass City 200 Late Model invitational, presented by National City Bank and Allegiant Air, set for Saturday, September 22 at Toledo Speedway. Landis joins a flurry of entries that include Midwest star Joe Bush, Brent Jack, Jake Francis, Steve Cronenwett, Ron Allen and veteran Roger Blackstock as the 200 lap classic nears.
