TOLEDO, OH: (12-9-08): Track management at Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways have finalized their dates with the touring series of ARCA for the 2009 season. The ARCA RE/MAX Series will make 2 stops at Toledo again next year, while the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series will visit both tracks for a race event in the upcoming season.

TOLEDO, OH (12-3-08)--As the snow begins to fly, plans continue to move forward for the 2009 racing seasons at both Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways. A pair of annual race car shows held at shopping malls have been set on back-to-back weekends in March.

Charles Joseph "C.J." Landry, a sports writer for The Blade who wrote about local automobile racing, died Wednesday in St. Charles Mercy Medical Center. He was 62.

TOLEDO OH (11-18-08)--Richard C. Koester, who with his brother Herb, built and paved Toledo Speedway in the early 1960s, died Saturday Nov. 15 at the age of 82.

FLAT ROCK MI (11-11-08)--It's getting cold, there's a few snow flurries in the air around the Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway area, but it's also time to keep plans moving for the 2009 season. And with that, ARP Bodies has announced it will renew its contingency program with the 2 tracks for the upcoming year.

SOUTHGATE MI (11-10-08)--A large crowd of 600 guests converged Friday evening at the annual Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways banquet, held at the elegant Crystal Gardens Banquet Center in Southgate, MI. The evening was hosted by track announcer Gary Lindahl. All the track champions received their championship jackets and garage banners as ARCA President Ron Drager led the toast to the champions.

A total of fifty (50) banquet tickets remain for next Friday's Flat Rock/Toledo Speedway banquet.  The Friday, November 7 banquet will take place at Crystal Gardens in Southgate, MI. 

Tickets are $36 each.  Please contact Scott at 734-782-2480 as soon as possible.  The ticket includes dinner and an open bar.

Pg. 40, B, IGNITION: (Point of emphasis): Box must be mounted out of reach of driver, towards right side of car. All wiring must be exposed and be in plain view.

TOLEDO OH (10-24-08)-Picture 1,000+ motorcycles and all the chrome, leather and VROOOM that goes along with that. This is truly an event you don't want to miss!

Tickets will be mailed out beginning Monday, October 27.

2009 RULE CHANGES

Rule changes/amendments will be mailed out Monday, October 27 to the Driver/Owner list for each of the six divisions.  Very, very few changes------
