TOLEDO, OHIO (November 19, 2009)--Toledo Speedway will open its 2010 racing season with a Late Model doubleheader Saturday, April 17, featuring the ASA North Late Models and the ARCA Gold Cup Late Models. Ron Varney, President of ASA Late Models, will serve as the promoter of the event. The rain date is Sunday afternoon, April 18.

 SOUTHGATE, Michigan (November 6, 2009)--Race teams, officials, family and friends met Friday evening for the annual Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways banquet, held at the elegant Crystal Gardens Banquet Center in Southgate, MI. The evening was hosted by track announcer Gary Lindahl. All the track champions received their championship jackets as ARCA President Ron Drager led the toast to the champions.
Flat Rock's ARCA Moran Chevrolet/Miller Lite Late Models saw second-generation driver Eric Lee claim his second Flat Rock Late Model crown in a row and his third over-all. Eric and his car owner, his father Steve, who also is a past Flat Rock Late Model champ, accepted the championship trophies and a check for $2000. 2007 champ Dennis Strickland, Ron Allen, Paul Pelletier, Steve Cronenwett Jr., Dick Barker, Stan Yee, Chris Benson, Joe Hawes and Dan Trosen Jr. rounded out the top 10 point men for 2008. Kevin Butzin was the Rookie of the Year, while Trosen Jr. notched Sportsmanship honors. Pat Moran of Moran Chevrolet presented the trophies and checks to the drivers.

TOLEDO, Ohio (October 29, 2009)--TO ALL DIVISIONS: In 2010, we will put a major emphasis on decibel limits. The rule is the same, but it will be enforced. We have been lax with this program, but a major emphasis will be applied to this rule in 2010. You will have 1 week to fix your problem; if you are still loud, you will start scratch in all events. If you are still loud on your third time you are at the track, you will not be allowed to compete. THIS APPLIES TO ALL CARS IN ALL DIVISIONS AT BOTH TRACKS. This was a topic at the recent MSPA (Michigan Speedway Promoters Association) meeting.

 TOLEDO, Ohio (October 21, 2009)--These days, Brian Keselowski stays busy as a car owner, driver and crew chief in the NASCAR Nationwide Series but like many in the NASCAR Garage Area, his career traveled through ARCA first. Keselowski returned to Toledo Speedway-the track where he won an ARCA-sanctioned Late Model Championship in 2003- on Wednesday to prepare his NASCAR Nationwide Series cars for the last few races of the season.

A look back at the Glass City 200:After 10 years of trying to win Toledo Speedway's Glass City 200, Dave Kuhlman finally triumphed. Kuhlman retook the lead on lap 177 when then leader Scott Hantz pitted.

 WHITE LAKE, Michigan (October 16, 2009)--Andrew Hagen has completed his first full season of oval racing in the USA with Brad Keselowski Racing. Hagen competed in seven Super Late Model events throughout Michigan and Ohio on half-mile ovals. This year was an opportunity for Hagen to get accustomed to oval racing after leaving his road racing background and setting his sights on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

 TOLEDO OH (10-15-09) - Even though the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series race season has concluded, the ‘off-season' afterburners are once again aglow.

TOLEDO, OH: (10-13-09): Due to the lack of pre-entries, Saturday's 100 lap Enduro race at Toledo Speedway has been cancelled. The event was scheduled to be a road-course style of event, using portions of the ½ mile, ¼ mile and pit road.

Flat Rock/Toledo Speedway banquet tickets will be mailed starting on Tuesday, October 13. Many of you have requested to be seated with other parties---so we've been waiting for their reservations!
